Delete or Inactivate an Associate

Whether you choose to delete your employee or just make them inactive, you will need to remove all PENDING associations beforehand. We do NOT recommend deleting any users, but rather making them inactive.

BridalLive makes this easy with the Bulk Actions feature to change associate.  However, if you prefer not to mass update by using the Bulk Actions, you can always open each appointment/task/transaction and change the associate manually.

Removing Contact Associations

Navigate to Contacts > Search Contacts and filter for all of the contacts assigned to the associate you want to delete/inactivate. Use the check box, to select ALL (be sure the # of entries shown is set to ALL) and then select Bulk Actions > Change associate.  Next, choose the associate that you want to assign these appointments to.  

Removing Appointment Associations

Navigate to Activities > Search Appointments and filter for pending appointments assigned to the associate you want to delete/inactivate.  Use the check box, to select ALL (be sure the # of entries shown is set to ALL) and then select Bulk Actions > Change associate.  Next, choose the associate that you want to assign these appointments to.  

Removing Task Associations

Navigate to Activities > Search Tasks and filter for pending tasks assigned to the associate you want to delete/inactivate.  Use the check box, to select ALL (be sure the # of entries shown is set to ALL) and then select Bulk Actions > Change associate.  Next, choose the associate that you want to assign these tasks to.

Removing Point of Sale Associations

Navigate to Point Of Sale > Search Transactions and filter pending transactions assigned to the associate you want to delete/remove. Use the check box, to select ALL (be sure the # of entries shown is set to ALL) and then select Bulk Actions > Change associate.  Next, choose the associate that you want to assign these transactions to.

Removing Purchase Order Associations

Navigate to Purchasing > Search Purchase Orders and filter for all pending purchase orders assigned to the associate you want to delete/inactivate.  Use the check box, to select ALL (be sure the # of entries shown is set to ALL) and then select Bulk Actions > Change associate.  Next, choose the associate that you want to assign these tasks to.

Removing Receiving Voucher Associations

Navigate to Purchasing > Search receiving vouchers and filter for all receiving vouchers orders assigned to the associate you want to delete/inactivate.  Use the check box, to select ALL (be sure the # of entries shown is set to ALL) and then select Bulk Actions > Change associate.  Next, choose the associate that you want to assign these tasks to.

 

Once all associations have been assigned to a different user,

you can then go to Settings > Users & Roles > Users > Edit next to the User you would like to make Inactive > Change Status to Inactive (bottom right corner) or delete from the Users screen.
