Edit Item Properties, Manage Photos, Adjust Categories, and Use Toggle Settings
To update item details in your BridalLive eCommerce platform, navigate to:
Products > Manage Products, then click Edit from the action menu next to any item you'd like to update.
Item Details Section
This area contains most of the editable properties for your product listings:
Designer Name
Imported from your POS or inventory system. Designer names can be managed under Products > Manage Designers in the BridalLive eCommerce platform. Editing this field in BridalLive's eCommerce platform will not affect your BridalLive Point of Sale Software.
Color
Also imported from your inventory system but editable directly within the BridalLive eCommerce platform. Updates made here stay within BridalLive and won’t affect your POS.
Product Name
Initially imported, but fully customizable in the BridalLive eCommerce platform. BridalLive does not sync changes to this field back to your POS, so feel free to personalize names for clarity or grouping.
Pro Tip:
If multiple SKUs share the same product name (e.g., the same bridesmaid dress in multiple colors), they will automatically group in your storefront with a "more options" badge. You can easily apply matching names in bulk using the Bulk Edit tool.
Price
Prices are imported from your POS but can be edited within the BridalLive eCommerce platform.
If the Auto Update Price toggle is on, pricing will stay in sync with your inventory system. Toggle it off to enter your own pricing directly in the BridalLive eCommerce platform.
Shipping Template
Assign a shipping template to define item size, weight, and optional shipping costs. Learn more about Managing Shipping Templates.
Operation History Log
Click the document icon in the SKU bar to view the full change history for that product—whether updates came from your POS or a team member made them directly in BridalLive.
Inventory Options
Inventory quantities are synced directly with your POS. The BridalLive eCommerce platform depends on your POS provider’s API to send updates, which can sometimes take a few minutes.
You can trigger a manual update by clicking the refresh/sync icon in the Inventory section.
If the item has relay order capabilities or fulfillment options, notes will appear automatically.
Category Assignments
While categories are imported from your POS, you can fully customize them within the BridalLive eCommerce platform. Use the dropdown menus to assign, remove, or edit category tags.
The BridalLive eCommerce platform does not push changes made here back to your BridalLive POS (only vice versa), so you have the freedom to structure your storefront as needed.
Managing Item Images
It’s simple to add or update photos in the BridalLive eCommerce platform:

Add: Click the plus tile to upload a new image

Remove: Click the red X

Reorder: Drag and drop image tiles
Pro Tip:
Use JPG, PNG, or GIF formats for compatibility. Stick to square crops and white backgrounds for a consistent, polished look. For best results, use 1600 x 1600 pixels for high-quality display without slowing load time.
Toggle Settings
These options determine how each item behaves in your BridalLive eCommerce storefront:

In-Store Pickup Only – Hides shipping and displays pickup location during checkout

In-Store Purchase Only – Displays the item but disables online checkout

Show on Site – Toggle to show/hide item from the storefront

Auto Update Price – Enable to sync price with your POS; disable for manual pricing

Featured Product – Displays the item in your Featured section

Show Item as On Sale – Adds a "Sale" tag in the shop view
Optional Short Description
This displays to the right of the item on the Item Detail page.
If left blank, the BridalLive eCommerce platform will automatically use the first ~290 characters from the main description.
Full Item Description
Get creative with detailed descriptions—use bold text, bullet points, images, links, or even videos. The BridalLive eCommerce platform uses a rich text editor (CKEditor) to make formatting simple and intuitive.
