Selling the Gift Card
In order to sell a Gift Card, you must first add a Gift Card item to the Item List. To do this, click Inventory > Add Item. When adding the item, enter a Name of Gift Card, Item Type of Non-Inventory Item, Tax Code of No Tax and leave the price $0 (it will be adjusted later).
Once the item is added to the Item list, it will be ready for sale. To sell the Gift Card, just add it to any transaction and manually adjust the price to match how much the customer is purchasing.
When you are done, you will need to issue a certificate or a gift card with the amount on it.
