Quote Settings
Many of the Quote settings will pull directly from your transaction settings under Settings > Point of Sale > Preferences to match up directly with your transactions, but you do have a few specific settings just for quotes that can be managed separately. You can locate these under Settings > Point of Sale > Quotes. These settings control the display of information on printed and emailed quote receipts. The Client Portal also uses these settings when displaying quote information to clients.

Quote Templates
If you do not have the email or SMS templates for quotes in your BridalLive account, you can add those to your account following the below.
This email template will give you the option to send a receipt regarding all quote information to the Contact.

This email and SMS template will give you the option to request a signature for the quote agreement if you have an integrated credit card processor or the Client Portal enabled.
Quote Created Smart Flow Trigger
You can build a Smart Flow automation to trigger when a quote is created. Smart Flows are found via Settings > Smart Flows. Please read more about Smart Flows here. You can create a Smart Flow based on a quote being created for all departments or a single department.
Converted Quotes - When a quote is converted, any pending or scheduled Smart Flows will remain intact for the contact.
Voided or Deleted Quotes - When a quote is voided or deleted, all pending tasks, scheduled emails, and scheduled text messages will be deleted as well.
Below is an example of a potential Bridal Gown Quote Smart Flow that could be created:
Step 1. Send Email - Quote Receipt (see Quote Templates section above how to add template if not in your BridalLive account)
Step 2. System Action - Assign to Category - Brides Quoted
- Categories can be added under Settings > Contacts > Categories
Step 3. Create Task - Quote Converted?
- Tasks can be added under Settings > Activities > Task Types
Step 4. Send SMS - Client Portal - Quote Signature Request (see Quote Templates section above how to add template if not in your BridalLive account)

Quote Agreements
You can add an agreement to BridalLive to obtain a signature with a printed quote, your BridalLive Pay wired terminal, or via email and text message to your Contact with an integrated credit card processor or Client Portal enabled. To add a quote agreement, navigate to Settings > Point of Sale > Quotes and select the Quote Agreement tab. If you do not see this option in your BridalLive account, please scroll to the top and review the permissions options.
Click Add to enable a Quote Agreement. If you have BridalLive Pay, you will see the option to Add > Quote Agreement or Add > Quote Terminal Agreement. The Quote Agreement can be signed via a printed quote receipt or emailed or sent via SMS to the Contact to be signed with the Client Portal. Duplicate Quote
You can duplicate a quote from the More Actions button on the quote screen or from the Search Quotes screen. This will duplicate all info from one quote to another so you can easily and quickly create multiple quotes.
Convert Quote
Once your Contact is ready to make a purchase, you can convert the quote to a Special Order, Sale, or a Layaway transaction type- depending on if the item is going to be sold off the rack and/or taken out of the shop or needs to be ordered with your designer. You will be required to have an In Stock amount greater than 0 to create a Sale or a Layaway. Converting a quote will keep all of the items, notes, add-on items, discounts, fees, etc, and apply them to the converted transaction.
Copy to Quote from Transaction
You can create a quote from a transaction in BridalLive if you would like to copy all the information from that transaction to a quote by going to More Actions > Copy to Quote. To be able to Copy to Quote from a transaction, you will need to make sure you have the Create Quote User Role permission.
Example:
This is a great option if you had a bridesmaid purchase their gown, but are still waiting on the others to purchase, you could create a quote from the transaction to assign to the bridesmaids that are still waiting to place their order. You can also use this feature if you have a customer who is wanting to purchase, you ring up all their information and items, then they back out of the sale. You can copy the information to a quote. You can then decide to void or delete the associated transaction if needed.
*If Smart Flows have already been processed, any pending tasks and/or scheduled emails and texts will remain as is unless these are manually deleted or the transaction is deleted.
Search Quotes
You can search all of your pending and converted quotes in BridalLive by hovering over Point of Sale on the far left menu and selecting Search Quotes. From this screen, you can filter the quotes by the status of pending or converted, created dates, converted dates, etc!
Smart Filter - Transactions Converted from Quote
The BridalLive Smart Filter Transactions Converted from Quote will give you the ability to filter your transactions that have been converted from a quote by converted date, contact name, status, and more!
