Shop Page Overview
The shop page is divided into three core sections to help your customers browse with ease:
-
Navigation/Header Bar
-
Filter Column
-
Item Results
Filter Bar Functionality
Global Search
This wildcard search field lets customers search by designer, item name, or description—making it easier to find specific gowns, accessories, or formalwear pieces.
Applied Filters
Filters currently in use will appear visually grouped for clarity. Customers can remove individual filters or clear all at once for a fresh search.
Designer Filter
Shoppers can quickly refine their results by designer. Note: only designers with items marked "Show on Site" will appear as filter options.
Category Filters
Categories help guide customers to the exact product type they’re looking for—such as bridal gowns, bridesmaids, tuxedos, or accessories. Categories can be assigned in bulk or individually in the Item Library, and you can also choose to hide any category from public view.
Size Filters
Allow shoppers to narrow down products by specific size. This ensures they’re only seeing items that are relevant and available.
Mini Return Policy Display
This brief, customizable message can be edited on your Store Settings page. A more detailed FAQ or Return Policy can be created and customized under the Manage Content section of your admin panel.
Featured Items
Use the Featured section to spotlight select products—perfect for highlighting new arrivals or limited-time styles. You can flag items as “Featured” directly from the page in BridalLive.
Item Details Page
When a shopper clicks on any item, they’re taken to the Item Details page which includes:
-
Designer Name
-
Item Name
-
Price
-
Description
-
Color
-
Size Selection
A photo gallery displays your uploaded product images in an automated slideshow. Shoppers can also easily share the item via social media with a direct link.
Shipping or In-Boutique Pickup
Once the customer selects their size, they’ll have the option to:
-
Ship to Me – Products can be shipped directly to their preferred location.
-
Pick Up In Store – For boutiques with multiple locations, customers can choose the nearest store with the item in stock. The platform will display available quantities at each location to help guide their decision.
Inventory Note for Multi-Location Boutiques Using BridalLive eCommerce
If your inventory is managed through BridalLive and you operate more than one location:
BridalLive requires all web sales to be processed through a designated Main Store (set during API setup). Even if the item is stocked at another location, the sale will be deducted from that main store’s inventory. You’ll then need to manually transfer inventory from the alternate location as needed.
To support this process, BridalLive includes the in-stock location(s) on each order receipt, so your team can easily identify where to transfer product from. If you need help understanding this setup or workflow, our team is happy to walk you through it—just reach out.
