BridalLive Rentals helps you manage rental inventory, track individual items, and process rental orders from reservation through return.
Designed for businesses offering tuxedos, suits, formalwear, and other rental products, Rentals provides item-level tracking and workflow management to help keep your inventory organized and available.
Before You Begin
Rentals is an optional add-on feature available for BridalLive.
If you are interested in adding Rentals to your subscription, please contact your BridalLive representative for additional information.
Getting Started
Once Rentals has been enabled for your account:
- A Rentals menu will appear in your navigation
- Rental-specific workflows will become available
- Smart View will display rental activity and order status
Before creating your first rental order, we recommend completing the following setup steps:
Setup Checklist
- Review Rental Preferences
- Confirm default Smart Flows are enabled (recommended)
- Create your rental inventory items
- Add available sizes
- Assign serial numbers to each rental item
How Rentals Works
Rental orders follow a structured workflow that tracks each stage of the rental lifecycle:
- Create the rental order
- Assemble the order and assign specific items
- Mark the order as picked up
- Process the return
- Send items to laundry (if applicable)
- Complete the order
Each stage is tracked automatically and displayed in Smart View, helping your team stay organized and manage upcoming rental activity.

Rental Items
Rental items are configured separately from standard inventory and are specifically designed for rental workflows.
Serial Numbers
Each physical rental item is assigned a unique serial number. This allows BridalLive to track exactly which item is rented, returned, in laundry, or available for future reservations.
Smart View
Smart View organizes rental orders by workflow stage, allowing your team to quickly identify orders that require action.
Rental Smart View categories include:
- Overbooked
- Ready for Assembly
- Ready for Sub-Rented Confirmation
- Ready for Pickup
- Out to Customer
- Laundry
- Overdue Returns
- Possible Return Conflicts
