Recommended Hardware for BridalLive

BridalLive is compatible with a variety of hardware options, allowing you to customize your setup to fit your shop’s needs. Below, you'll find our recommended and verified hardware. Note that not all items are required; at a minimum, you'll need a computer (or iPad) and a printer.

Computer

Any computer that can run the latest version of a modern web browser is compatible with BridalLive.

• Recommended browsers: Google Chrome or Firefox
• If using another browser, it must be the most recent version. BridalLive only supports the latest version of any browser.

Tablets and Mobile Phones

BridalLive is responsive and functional on modern mobile devices, including:

• iPads: iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad Mini 2 and newer
• Access BridalLive via browser at app.bridallive.com

Limitations: Printing payment receipts and some features are not supported on iPads, phones, or tablets.

Printers

BridalLive supports standard 8.5" x 11" printing using any traditional printer.

• For iPad printing, ensure the printer is AirPrint compatible.
• Recommended printer for iPad users: Brother MFC9330CDW

Thermal Receipt Printing

• Recommended model: Star Micronics TSP100
• Set paper size to 72mm x 150mm and margins to None
• Save these as your default print settings

Label Printing

BridalLive supports multiple label printing options:

• Zebra ZD220 Label Printer – Zebra Setup Guide
• DYMO 550 / 550 Turbo Label Printer – DYMO Setup Guide
• Avery Labels 5160 and 5167 using 8.5" x 11" standard printers
  • Avery label support is limited to U.S. customers

Credit Card Terminal

BridalLive Pay is our integrated credit card processor, built for a seamless checkout experience.

Network Extender

For wireless reliability, especially with iPads or mobile POS setups:

• Recommended: NETGEAR WiFi Range Extender with a wired Ethernet port
• Universally compatible with most routers

Note: May not be compatible with routers using altered or outdated firmware.

Cash Drawer

BridalLive supports cash drawer integration only through the Star Micronics TSP100 receipt printer.

• Recommended drawer: Star Micronics Cash Drawer
• Supported only when printing from a desktop (not iPad)
• If not using the TSP100, the drawer must be opened manually

Barcode Scanner

Barcode scanners are useful for inventory and customer checkout. BridalLive supports most common models.

• Recommended wired model: Motorola Symbol LS2208
• Recommended wireless model: Socket Mobile Bluetooth Scanner

Note: Bluetooth scanners can be less stable. Consider a wired option unless wireless is essential.

Barcode Reader Configuration

If using a barcode scanner that is not one of our recommended models, you may need to configure it to read:

• Code128 barcodes
• Minimum barcode length: 1
• Carriage Return must be enabled - In the context of scanners, a carriage return (often abbreviated as CR) is a setting that causes the scanner to automatically send a line break (like pressing the "Enter" key) after each scan. This is useful in situations where you want the scanned data to be automatically entered into a new line in an application, such as a point-of-sale system. 

Refer to your barcode scanner's manual or technical support for assistance.
