BridalLive is intentionally designed to prevent overbooking and will always err on the side of caution to protect your team and customer experience.

Why Availability Is Blocked
BridalLive requires both space and staff to confirm appointment availability. The system does not assume that one employee can manage multiple appointments simply because they are scheduled in the same fitting room. Appointments may run long, overlap, or require additional support.
Online availability may be blocked if:
Appointments are unassigned to an employee
No employee is scheduled and eligible for the appointment type
The system cannot confirm sufficient staffing capacity
Step 1: Assign Existing Appointments
Unassigned appointments are the most common cause of missing availability.
Go to your Appointments calendar
Review existing appointments for the affected date
Confirm each appointment is assigned to a specific employee
If appointments are left unassigned, BridalLive assumes staffing may be unavailable and will not open new booking slots.
Step 2: Confirm Employee Availability and Eligibility
At least one employee must be scheduled and eligible to handle the appointment type.
Go to Settings > Users & Security > Users
Review the employee record

Confirm the employee has:
A work schedule for the date and time
The correct appointment types assigned
No conflicting time off
Without an available and eligible employee, online booking will not display openings.
Step 3: Review Fitting Rooms and Blocks
Adding or moving appointments into a fitting room does not automatically create availability.
Go to Settings > Fitting Rooms
Open the fitting room in question

Review:
Appointment blocks
Special event blocks, if applicable
Even if a fitting room is offline only, employee assignments are still required. Blocked time at the fitting room level can prevent availability even when employees are scheduled.
How to Review Availability Using Smart Book
Smart Book is the fastest way to see how BridalLive is evaluating availability.
Go to Calendar and select your preferred view
Click Smart Book
Choose the appointment type and date

Review each tab:
Appointments: Existing bookings and employee assignments
Associates: Employees who are eligible for the selected appointment type will be green
Blackout Dates: Any blocked dates or times
All three areas must align for availability to appear online.
