Step 1: Create Email Template
- Click Manage Templates
- Select Emails and Click +Add New Review Form
- Select desired Template
- Edit information accordingly
- Click Save
**Skip this step if you are doing a text campaign.
Step 2: Create Review Form
- Click Forms
- Click +Add New Review Form
- Click on desired Form
- Edit accordingly
- Click Save
Step 3: Create Campaign
- Click +Add New Campaign
- Name your campaign
- Click Select a Form; click on desired review form
- In Delivery Methods 1 select desired Email Template (or select SMS)
- If SMS – Enter in desired text. *Do not remove the {{formURL}} which is the review form they’ll complete.
- In Delivery Method 2 select email template (or SMS) if you wish to add a drip campaign (a drip campaign is an additional email/text sent out if first is not answered/opened)
- Click Save
**Best practice is to add your business name to the Email Sender Name so the customer knows whom it is coming from.
**The first name of the customer will already populate in the Email Subject line. Do not remove the {{firstName}} brackets.
**When sending an SMS you can update the text to whatever you’d like, but do not remove the text: Reply 'STOP' to opt-out from text messages. This is mandatory for SMS communication.
Step 4: Add Contacts
- Select your Campaign
- Click Contacts
- Click Upload contacts
- Click Download Excel upload template
- Open file
- Add contact info (Follow the format exactly, do not edit columns. Phone number OR email is needed, or both, depending on if you are doing an email or text campaign).
- Ensure the Location ID matches correlating location
- Click Save As onto desktop
- To add the file to Review Builder go back to Contact, click Upload Contacts, then click on “Drag and Drop your excel…” and select file, or drag your file into the box.
- Click Save
- You will see the screen processing the information and a message once it’s complete.
Step 5: Activate Campaign
You can activate your campaign before or after you upload your contacts. If the campaign is activated before you upload your contacts, they will send out right away if you select “Immediately” as the Send option.
- Activate on the Manage Campaigns page using the toggle under Actions off to the right of the campaign.

- Click Review Widgets
- Click +Add New Widget
- Click on desired template
- Edit accordingly
- Click Save
- Select Location to stream reviews from (optional but advised for single locations, otherwise all location reviews will stream)
- If you chose the Summary template, you will also need to select a campaign. Because this widget has a ‘leave a review’ option, the reviews will filter into the selected campaign.
