Our API (Application Programming Interface) allows developers to extend and enhance the BridalLive platform by connecting BridalLive with external systems or custom applications.
Getting Started
Step 1: Obtain Approval
Before making API calls to BridalLive, your account must first be approved for API access.
To request approval, please complete the API Access Request. Approval is granted based on factors such as expected request volume and overall system impact.
Step 2: Review API Documentation
Once approved, your Retailer ID and API Key will be available within the BridalLive application.
To locate this information, navigate to:
Settings > Account > API Access
This page also provides access to the BridalLive API documentation, which includes:
- API endpoint documentation
- Sample Postman files
- A video tutorial explaining how to get started with the API
Step 3: Test in the Sandbox Environment
Before making production API calls, all development must be completed and validated in a Sandbox (QA) environment.
Sandbox Overview
- Sandbox accounts are standalone environments
- They do not include or sync with live production data
- All setup, configuration, and testing must be completed within the sandbox account
Access Requirements
- Sandbox access is only available on the Elite plan
- API must be enabled on the production account prior to sandbox use
- API access requires approval
API Documentation
- Sandbox API links are available in the API Access section of the Account page within BridalLive
Important Guidelines
- All development must be tested in the sandbox before making production API calls
- Failure to test in the sandbox may result in API access being disabled
- Connections that cause production errors may result in the account and associated IP address being blocked, which could restrict access to the BridalLive application
Requesting a Sandbox Account
To request a sandbox account, complete the Sandbox Request Form:
BridalLive Sandbox Request – Fill out form
Once your sandbox account has been created:
- Reply with your Company Name
- Include the email used for setup
BridalLive will then:
- Mark the account as Active
- Enable API access
- Provide your Retailer ID and API key
API Support and Response Times
Any support issues that arise from the use or misuse of the API will be billed as API Support.
Please allow 3–5 business days for responses to API assistance requests.
Developer support is not included in the standard BridalLive subscription. If assistance from our development team is required, it will be billed at $299 per hour with a one-hour minimum.
This service does not include custom development but is available for troubleshooting or guidance related to your own development efforts.
API Usage Fees
All BridalLive accounts with API access enabled will incur a monthly API usage fee. This fee is separate from your BridalLive subscription and any additional software components.
Our API (application programming interface) allows you to take your BridalLive usage to the next level.
